Music Ministry

Choir and Bells

Trinity’s music program is open to all, with no prior music experience or training necessary; liking to sing is all we need! The environment in all rehearsal and performance spaces is pressure-free, collaborative and friendly; we like people to want to learn and grow.

Trinity performs multiple genres; we do classical music, spirituals, contemporary music, praise music, and so much more. The only thing that ties it all together is Christian themes. If you don’t sing or ring but do play another instrument, we would welcome you to play a special music event like a prelude or a postlude.

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or simply someone who enjoys the beauty of song, you’ll find a welcoming community here. Together, we explore the melodies of faith, and through music, we amplify our ministry’s mission of love, service, and spiritual growth

Adult Choir

Adult choir meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM and before church weekly on Sundays at 9:15 AM.

Bell Choir

Bell choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM and rings in church once every 4-6 weeks.

Children's Choir

Children’s choir meets at the beginning of Sunday School on Sunday mornings and sings in church a few times a year.

Children’s Ministry

The goal of Trinity’s CYFM (Children Youth Family Ministry) is to educate our youngest congregation members about God’s love and grace and how to live like Jesus. With the use of weekly Bible story discussions, as well as fun mission projects and fellowship events throughout the year, the CYFM committee strives to support the lifelong spiritual formation of all of its members, including parents. Studies affirm that faith WITHIN the family is the greatest determining factor in a child’s future faith commitment. The more personal connections children have at church, the more they feel loved by their church family and continue to seek a church connection throughout life. Sunday School

Sunday School class is held from 9AM – 10AM from September through June.

Curriculum

Age-appropriate curricula are provided for children from age 3 through 8th grade.

Youth Ministry

Youth Group is a social group open to 7th – 12th graders. This growing group meets monthly where they plan fun activities, share highs and lows in life, and complete service projects. Youth group aims to create a nurturing environment where young people can grow spiritually, and become active, engaged members of the church and community. This group may also travel to fellowship retreats, mission opportunities, and presbytery and denominational youth gatherings, such as the Presbyterian Youth Triennium. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Lisa Cusumano at lisacusumano79@gmail.com.

Confirmation

Middle School age youth and older are invited to participate in Confirmation. This is a time in which they intentionally explore
their faith in order to discern their place within the congregation and to affirm the vows taken by their parents on their behalf at their Baptism. The program covers topics like the sacraments, grace, and reconciliation and offers opportunities to serve the church. At the course’s conclusion, confirmands will write a statement of faith and take part in a Service of Confirmation. Once confirmed, youth are considered adult members of the church.
